SCG was founded by Jay Lotz who has over 30 years of experience in Naming Rights, corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales and consulting covering all facets sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing. With a career total of over $500 million in corporate partnership and sponsorship sales, Lotz has extensive experience leading some of the largest sports properties, theme parks, concert tours, music festivals and music venues throughout the world..
During seven years as a senior executive at AEG Live, Lotz led corporate partnership efforts for major music tours including Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, George Strait, Kanye West, Pink, The Black Eyed Peas, Justin Bieber, Tina Turner, George Strait and many more. He also led the sales efforts for some of the most popular and successful music festivals in the world including Coachella, Stagecoach and the New Orleans Jazz Festival.
During his twenty years at IMG, Lotz was the executive in charge of developing new representation agreements with high profile entertainment and sports properties for sponsorship sales. In that role, he generated over $125 million in sponsorships and promotions for the Universal Studios Theme Parks in Orlando, FL and Hollywood, CA and over $50 million for the GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY Awards. He was also a senior member of the Business Development Group and led the sales on numerous sports properties and athlete endorsements, including The Samsung World Championship of Golf, US Olympic Committee, US Soccer Federation, LG Skins Game, Sony Miami Open, Joe Montana, Roger Federer, Derek Jeter, Arnold Palmer, Natalie Golbis, Maria Sharapova, and many more.
Bill Vaughn is the Chief Operating Officer at SCG Entertainment with a primary focus of new business development, client management and partnership sales. He is a 25-year industry veteran in Sports and Entertainment Marketing with most of that time spent at IMG where he was Vice President of Sponsorship Sales for TWI, the television division of IMG. Vaughn developed and sold sponsorship and television media packages in over 1,000 hours of US programming which was a mix of network, cable and syndication. Vaughn also headed up the US Soccer partnership while at IMG and his team delivered over $10M to the Men’s and Women’s National Teams.
Vaughn brings a wealth of industry contacts and knowledge on how to develop and package an entertainment property for maximum revenue generation.
